SafeWalk integrates stereovision technology and intelligent detection for pedestrian presence detection at kerbsides. This CMOS-based 3D detection system not only ensures improved safety for pedestrians at intersections and (mid-block) crossings, but because it manages and controls traffic lights more intelligently, it makes both pedestrian and motorist traffic more efficient.
